Adherence to the following protocols will help to ensure the safety of our players and also maximize our teams’ participation in practices and games.

• By attending practice or games, the player has certified that he/she does not have COVID, any COVID symptoms, or has not had a close contact with anyone who has COVID

• Use of the GameChanger App is required to assist in documenting who attends events

• We encourage any player who wishes to wear a mask to do so

• If a player has COVID, any symptoms of COVID, or a close contact with COVID*, he or she must not attend practice or a game

• If a player tests positive for COVID, SSYH needs to be informed

•  The player’s return to play, and date of return, will be determined by SSYH.

Practices or games will be canceled, or participation limited, as applicable, if players have COVID and/or close contacts.

*Under Commonwealth of Massachusetts protocols and CDC guidance, as applied, the vaccination status of players is taken into account into determining whether participants may need to quarantine and miss practice or games if they have a close contact with someone who has COVID. Players who are vaccinated may not need to quarantine upon a close contact – assuming the player has no symptoms.
